The Power Credits scheme has been set up by industry
to ensure a smooth phase out of the low fixed charge
regulation and will run for five years from winter 2022.
Electricity retailers and lines companies fund the scheme, which will
see $5 million spent over five years to assist households
experiencing energy hardship.
